100% REMOTE We're looking for a talented Network Security Engineer with broad experience across firewall technologies and security solutions. You will join one of our client's security teams to manage risk across all facets of the business. Responsibilities of the Network Security Engineer:
  • Design, implement, operate, and integrate critical network security initiatives
  • Create and implement firewall and security policies/updates
  • Deploy and maintain security solutions across multiple environments
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting across regions and environments
  • Provide on call support and serve as SME for supported technologies

Requirements of the Network Security Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience on firewall platforms: Checkpoint, Palo Alto, SonicWALL
  • Understanding of networking and cybersecurity, including TCP/IP, DNS, IPS, routing and switching
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, firewall policy management, and firewall administration and maintenance
  • Experience with security processes and documentation
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Understanding of logging mechanisms: Syslog, Splunk
  • CCNA/CCNP/CISSP preferred
