Network Cloud Architect

Description Expert level capability in designing current and future state cloud/datacenter network architecture. The position will entail extensive knowledge of traditional enterprise networking (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) as well as cloud network architecture (with emphasis on AWS and AZURE and multi-cloud connectivity design). The position will require hands-on experience configuring, installing, and maintaining both traditional network equipment as well as cloud networking equivalentsDesign, configuration/deployment and documentation of complex L1/L2/L3 protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, Segment Routing, L2/L3, VoIP and Video topologies.Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.Experience in AWS and/or Citrix NetScaler load balancingFamiliarity with other external cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud Platform etc.)3 years' experience with multi-cloud networking design requiredProvide leadership in maturing next generation firewall capabilities and servicesDirect knowledge of Cisco routers and switchesExperience implementing network cybersecurity capabilities to include web-proxy filters, multi-tiered DMZs, ACI network segmentation, intrusion detection/prevention, and data loss preventionExhibit leadership qualities by taking the initiative to identify and resolve issuesResponsible for technical leadership in developing a 3-5 year voice/network strategy and technical roadmaps that ensures capabilities are relevant and aligned to business and IT strategiesProvide architectural design standards for new network/telephony services as well as network impact assessments and network designs. Provide thought leadership in ensuring strategy correctly balances traditional networking technologies, software defined networking and cloud capabilities in providing robust, cost effective services.
