Desktop Support Analyst

Description Robert Half is seeking candidates with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format for their Desktop Support Technician role. Problem solvers who enjoy working in a challenging and positive environment may do well in this Desktop Support Technician position. This Desktop Support Analyst position, which is a permanent opportunity, is located in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, area.Key responsibilities- Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Resolve computer problems, and give guidance on appropriate action/solutions- Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals Requirements - Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals- Desktop support or related experience- MS Windows 10 experience- Deep understanding of Basic Network Troubleshooting- Mac OS experience preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
