Job Summary: Manages, coordinates, and establishes priorities for the data and business intelligence needs of New Seasons. Ensures that our stakeholders have the information and reporting tools needed to support our business processes. Supports the Corporate direction of our enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence strategy, inclusive of the long-range planning, staffing, and technical architecture.

Essential Functions: Manage the daily activities of the team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of data warehouse systems and related data marts. Lead the build-out of enterprise reporting and analytics capabilities, tools, and functions. Responsible for decisive contributions to and strategic implementation of the roadmaps for Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence and data transformation solutions for the team. Oversee and architect data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories. Ensure proper balance between front-end systems and back-end processing capabilities. Lead/develop and execute processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality. Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. Utilize Business Intelligence tools to build and support dashboards. Develop a good working relationship with a wide range of stakeholders to design end-to-end experiences. Design, build and test processes to ensure a high level of data quality and optimal system performance. (supported by survey-based resultant outcomes) Build out and manage a high-performance technology team. Develop creative solutions to problems. Establish the scope of projects, allocate the proper resources, and monitor the progress. Provide status updates to senior management. Ensure that project/department time-driven milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Verify and validate all new software or software prior to production, upgrades, including development and management of test plans. Partner with other team members as well as cross-functional partners to support business processes and system solutions. Responsible for supervising individual contributors, mentoring any technical staff, as well as contributing to project work. Responsible for performance reviews, hiring, writing position descriptions. Completes annual training programs within the required timeframe and regularly attends staff meetings. May recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action. Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as department rules, policies, and procedural manuals. Adherence to HIPAA, Safety, and OSHA Regulations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field.

Required Knowledge: Must be computer literate and have knowledge of all Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Outlook and Office, Google Suite, as well as Call Center hardware and software.

Experience Required: Minimum five years of management experience in a related position, preferably in a healthcare organization and three years of Data Warehouse development and design with SQL development.

Skill and Ability: Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills. Experience leading teams in strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications. Experience leading the implementation of business intelligence applications that deliver business decision-making capabilities. Knowledge or experience with relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases and their design patterns. Knowledge of enterprise Business Intelligence tools (SAS, Power BI, SQL Server, etc.) building dashboards and data architecture. Ability to establish realistic timelines while ensuring projects remain on target to meet deadlines. Experience effectively managing third-party and vendor relationships and service levels. Ability to prioritize and lead the team to execute short-term projects to meet long-term goals. Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships throughout the department. Expertise with staff development, coaching, and mentoring. Ability to communicate to senior management, business partners, and group/team with the appropriate information at each level.
