Incident Response Lead Position Description CGI Federal is seeking an Incident Response Lead (IRL) to join an exciting team that provides risk management and cybersecurity support for a strategic federal customer. The IRL will work with a diverse teams of technical and functional SMEs fulfill Cybersecurity operations, information assurance and to lead the completion of Operational Security, Vulnerability Management, and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) requirements under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and all other relevant cybersecurity standards, directives and policies, including the alignment with the administration, implementation and configuration of security tools to enhance the risk posture of customer networks.Your future duties and responsibilities• Establishes direct line of communication between the NIH and CGIF, coordinating cybersecurity incident support.• Direct incident response using tools such as FireEye, Palo Alto, Splunk, and Tenable.• Lead IR efforts including detection and alerting, incident coordination, cyber investigations. Identifies malicious, suspicious activities and assigns the appropriate criticality and escalation process.• Identify suspicious activities and prioritize responses by assigning them appropriate criticality, and in implementing escalation procedures.• Leverage deep understanding of computer intrusion activities, incident response techniques, tools, and procedures• Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.• Participate in the change management process.• Create lessons disseminate learnt from occurred incidents.• Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of the Incident Response Plan• Continually improve upon Incident response processes and SOPsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role• • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification.• ECIH, GCIH, or eCIR certification(s)• OSCP certification• Experience with vulnerability management, incident detection, incident response and forensics.• Expert knowledge in security engineering, Network engineering, penetration testing, assessment of security controls• Experience with Firewalls and Endpoint Security.• Expert knowledge of security industry best practices and standards• Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.• Experience with the Enterprise Incident Response Cycle: Preparation, Detection & Analysis, Containment and Recovery, Post Incident Analysis• Solid knowledge of NIST SP 800-61 and working experience in creating RACI charts• Deep understanding of incident response tools, techniques, and procedures, including working knowledge of the Enterprise Incident Response Cycle, applicable NIST protocols, and computer intrusion activities.• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.Desired:• Visual Studio .NET Framework 2.5 and above and C## #CGIFederalJob
