UAT Coordinator Position Description The UAT Coordinator will play a key role as the bridge between Valley Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Business Partners to ensure a well-planned and effectively executed User Acceptance Test (UAT) of new Valley solutions or releases. You will apply your planning, coordination, communication, and coaching skills to guide Business users through the creation of use case scenarios which accurately reflect their business processes, and which also address the business requirements and acceptance criteria for the solution or release. Leveraging Valley's development and test management platform, you will ensure traceability from business requirement to UAT scenario, and you will promote reuse of QA (SIT) test steps to accelerate the execution of those UAT scenarios.As part of an existing QA team, working across iterative and traditional solution development lifecycles, you will work closely with both product and platform teams to support the rapid delivery of value. You will be expected to drive a quality mindset throughout the full project/product lifecycle to ensure the creation of testable use case scenarios and acceptance criteria.This role must be located at one of the following locations: Wayne, NJYour future duties and responsibilities• Work with the Business users to increase understanding of UAT principles and how to approach definition of use case scenarios.• Train Business users on the use of the Azure DevOps (ADO) platform for test management and defect reporting.• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure coverage of business requirements, confirmation of acceptance criteria, efficient scheduling, proper tracking, and reporting.• Serve as the point of contact for UAT for escalation of issues and overall status reporting.• Keep UAT testing moving.• Participate in continuous improvement efforts for the maturation of the UAT process.• Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for IT QA/QC to promote a culture of good quality practices.• Individual must demonstrate initiative and the ability to work both independently and as a contributing member of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent time management, planning and multi-tasking skills to support more than 1 testing campaign at the same time.Required qualifications to be successful in this role Experience with Leading Testers and QA within core and retail bankingManaging a QA Team Reporting/ Process ImprovementRisk ManagementDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREDTeam Oriented, client facing skills, able to collaborate with multiple teams.Project Management and Business Analytical ProficientTestComplete, Qmetry, UFT, QTPSystem/Application Testing skillsWell organized and detail oriented, Excellent written and oral communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
