Title: Sourcing Manager

Location: South Brunswick, NJ

Duration: 06+ Months ContractSourcing Manager that can independently draft / refine statements of work, negotiate pricing and terms independently with vendors using good judgement and direct hands-on experience across numerous business needs.

This mission will be accomplished through:1. Ability to negotiate sophisticated contracts for all services: i.e. Professional Services, Application Software, Virtual Event Services, Tax, Marketing, and more.2. Ability to handle multiple projects and be responsive to the business as the nature of the work entails pauses while legal or the business team’s review or prepare responses / requirements.3 Ability to review and make suggestions to the business to make requirements clear and actionable in RFPs and SOWs.4. Ability to negotiate directly with vendors on not only price but scope and commercial contract terms.5. Ability to lead and drive the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle including competitive bidding process, service provider selection, negotiating term’s and condition’s in partnership with internal and external legal, developing statements of work with SLAs.

Description:Individual contributor role who is responsible for bidding, negotiating, and drafting the full range of commercial contracts by applying experience and good judgement and performing with with minimal supervision or written procedures.Liaison between various business partners, InfoSec and Legal to ensure that each understands the business arrangement and that the business partners understand all implications. Ability to translate business requirements into contractual language.Draft and lead RFP processes or conduct targeted negotiations. Analyze responses and summarize findings. Organize supplier meetings, as needed. Support supplier rating and selection process. Communicate decision to suppliersLead negotiations and contract process (define roles, determine strategy, analyze responses, guide discussions) for optimal terms and performance management.Review and refine statements of work to make Supplier obligations actionable, minimize customer dependencies, clarify all deliverables and their acceptance, ensure completeness and avoid disconnectsDraft contract language with legal to ensure supplier performance and optimal terms in master services agreements and statements of work.Align communications strategy to keep business partners informed of progress / benefits relating to strategic projects and initiatives. Communication with all levels of the organization.Measure and track performance relating spending and budgetary impact.

Performance Criteria:This position will be measured on the value delivered to business partners, specifically:Ability to negotiate contracts independently and on behalf of the business using sourcing expertise and sound judgement.Ability to accurately translate business requirements into contractual language and to communicate those business requirements to legal and to suppliers during negotiations.Total Cost of Ownership, including reduction, Avoidance, and Multi-year Savings.Supplier Diversity and Sustainability Internal customer satisfaction

Qualifications:Minimum seven years of experience in Sourcing, Legal, Engineering, Information Systems and/or Finance.Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts with minimal direction/procedures by applying years of experience and sound judgement for complex targeted master service agreements and statements of work.Experience leading RFPs and competitive sourcing processes.Expert in using google collaboration tools (Gmail, folders, docs, sheets, calendar, slides)Expert in redlining word documentsExperience in ICERTIS contract management system implementation is a plus.Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred.
