Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Senior Project Manager/Business Analystfor a Contractassignment with one of our premier Insurance clients in Hoboken, NJ. Responsibilities :

  • Manage engagements with the business stakeholders across Corporate functions on behalf of the BI & Analytics team
  • Hold work sessions to gather the business requirements and help in defining what insights and analytical views would best suit the business' needs
  • Collaborate across technical and business teams to define the project scope
  • Manage the project throughout the full development lifecycle
  • Document requirements, including complex business logic and key metrics.
  • Create a project plan and manage the project throughout the full development lifecycle
  • Track key project tasks, including technical development items and key milestones with the business
  • Identify key risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact the project
  • Work closely with the technical teams to design dashboard prototypes and iterate toward deliverables
  • Coordinate with the internal testing team to identify key test cases and success criteria
  • Perform high-level data quality and dashboard review
  • Provide demo of prototypes and deliverables to key business stakeholders and Senior Leadership
  • Coordinate UAT testing and provide end-user training
Required Skills:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to gather requirements for analytical reporting use cases and collaborate to define project scope
  • Strong accountability to manage deliverables end-to-end
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Organized and attention to detail
  • Experience with SQL and advanced Excel functions is required
  • Prior experience working in an agile reporting and analytics development environment required
  • Knowledge of end-to-end BI and Analytics framework is a plus
  • HR domain/ functional knowledge is a plus
