Roquette America's manufacturing facility in Keokuk, Iowa is an expansive continuous processing corn wet-milling facility that proudly produces corn-based starches, syrups and polyols used in many food and beverage applications as well as in pharmaceuticals, paper products, cosmetics and agricultural goods. - Provide leadership, direction and management for the reliability engineering group
- Lead and manage plant-wide mechanical reliability, including a PSM mechanical integrity program
- Oversee the planning, development, execution and management of a reliability centered maintenance program focused on root cause failure analysis, vibration analysis, lubrication, non-destructive testing, long term infrastructure maintenance, and other reliability-centered projects for increasing plant equipment reliability
- Direct accountability for management of the Reliability group budget
- Select, organize, train and motivate labor force to ensure consistent attainment of goals at optimum productivity and cost levels
- Recommend improvements in equipment or methods
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations to minimize industrial injuries and meet regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and leverage the use of external contractors
- Confer with production, maintenance, and engineering to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment
- Review reports and statistics and utilize key performance indicators in planning and modifying reliability activities
- Implement and utilize RAI's performance management process to organize the activities of subordinates to meet or exceed budget requirements involving safety, equipment run time, environmental control, costs control, reliability benchmarks, quality, and shared responsibility in meeting production targets
- BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in reliability engineering/project management and Industrial Plant Operations
- Minimum 3 years experience managing technical engineers
- 10 years multi-faceted experience preferred
- Demonstrates strong business relevant technologies, skills, knowledge and experience and ability to apply them to meet a variety of business needs
- Demonstrates theoretical knowledge and practice of proven maintenance and reliability best practices (e.g. rotating equipment, alignment techniques, thermography, tribology, vibration analysis, non-destructive testing, equipment life cycle, RCFA, etc)
- Demonstrates ability to develop and utilize equipment performance and trending analysis
- Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence managers, peers, and mechanics; able to take a "hands on" approach with operators and mechanics to move work forward
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrates the ability to interact with and promote the capabilities of a diverse workforce
- Demonstrates understanding of business performance measures and critical to quality issues
- Demonstrates ability to execute corporate programs effectively, with program management experience preferred
- Demonstrates strong leadership capability including the ability to plan, prioritize and implement multiple projects concurrently
- Demonstrates high-level computer skills preferred e.g. Microsoft Office,
- Demonstrates high-level computer skills in SAP
