Let's take your career to the next level! My client based in Boston is hiring for a Mid-Level Java Software Engineer. You join a team of amazing engineers! This team is responsible for development of the Data Analytics platform, including all business intelligence logic. In addition, they create new solutions and partners closely with the Resiliency team on new enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in software development, including previous experience in the development of highly transactional, mission critical applications in heterogeneous environments/architectures for multi-user systems. You'll be able to hit the ground running if you have experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. From design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, to operational support. This is a great opportunity to get in at the ground from with a growing company. They provide excellent training and development. Required Skills & Experience
- Java 8+ (3+ years)
- Spring or similar MVC framework
- Service oriented designs and technologies.
- Web service technologies such as SOAP and REST
- SQL
- Version control such as Git and code review type tools such as Stash
- Continuous Integration/Delivery toolkits such as Jenkins
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery), AngularJS a plus.
- Familiar with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Stash.
- NoSQL
- AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana
- Queuing technologies, JMS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ
- Spark, Cloudera, HDFS, Kafka, Hive or Impala (Not necessarily Hadoop- MapR)
- AWS (S3, SQS, SNS, EC2)
