DescriptionThe Agile Release Train Lead is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). The Lead will manage cross-organizational efforts operating under Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), required to introduce applications and infrastructure changes into the production environment. The Lead work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action, requiring coordination across multiple Scrum Teams (Scrum of Scrum teams), product owners and stakeholders ensuring focus on company priorities.ResponsibilitiesHumana is seeking a Release Train Lead that will be responsible forCarrying out the Agile Release Train processes, helping the teams deliver value, manage risk, communicate with stakeholders and initiate improvement.
Ensuring all changes are delivered to user while maintaining the integrity and availability of the existing systems.
Communicating release expectations across all impacted users.
Understanding department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Developing programs designed to drive value-based deliverables.
Driving scrum teams toward delivery objectives through constant engagement with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and appropriate stakeholders regarding prioritization and cross-organizational implementation planning.
Reviewing and communicating results of programs.
Advising executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
Making decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
Following established guidelines/procedures.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree
At least 1 - 5 years experience with the SDLC
Excellent communication skills, leadership competencies, and high level of emotional intelligence
Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or good familiarity with the Agile methodologies
Experience in working in multi-team environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Desire to learn new technologies and processes
Must be a team player, coach, and mentor for the entire Journey ecosystem

Preferred QualificationsPrior insurance operations background
Technical documentation abilities
Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodology
Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools
Scrum Master certification
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and certification.
Previous experience planning and managing large projects
Prior experience in the health solutions industry
Working experience with IT teams
