Vice President of Cyber Security and Data Privacy. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and executing the security strategy in a fast-moving, results-driven IT organization. This includes setting the vision, architecture, policies, and standards for HNI's cybersecurity operations enterprise-wide. Along with operational responsibilities, you will play an integral role in HNI's digital transformation journey, working closely with the CIO and executive leadership to continue progressing HNI's digital footprint in our industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of concrete, actionable roadmaps for improving information security/cybersecurity and IT risk management programs, and achieving strategic initiatives
  • Drive security standards across the organization, including information security policies and guidelines (data privacy, data classification, endpoint security, etc.)
  • Enhance the organization's ability to detect, prevent and mitigate all security threats
  • Understand the organization's operations and communicate cybersecurity priorities/shortcomings from a business perspective
  • Lead the architecture and engineering of new security systems, including evaluation of technical designs
  • Monitor the external environment for emerging threats and proactively consult with stakeholders on appropriate courses of action
  • Engage senior leadership across the organization to communicate the cybersecurity strategy and key information security initiatives
  • Provide guidance on information security topics, advising and collaborating on security processes, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans
  • Lead day-to-day security operations, including overseeing cybersecurity measures and action plans, continuous improvement initiatives, investigations of any control failures (and leading follow-up action plans), and staff management/talent development
  • Collaborate to support and improve HNI's IT SOX compliance program.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Management, Security Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 15+ years information technology experience focusing in infrastructure, architecture, risk management, and information security/cybersecurity
  • Proven track record and experience developing information security strategy and programs, including successful implementation in large, multinational enterprises in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of common information security management frameworks; proven track record of legal and regulatory requirements/standards, including but not limited to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Ability to convey security information to non-technical audiences in a way that inspires adoption and adherence to security policies and programs
  • Collaborative, high-energy and results-driven; enjoys leading a team, with strong managerial and talent development skills
  • Experience leading cybersecurity in Oracle EBS environment preferred
  • Professional security management certification preferred; Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISS), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
