Job Description

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for supervising all receiving, storage, picking, packing and distribution of retail, rental and non-inventory product at the Aspen Skiing Company warehouse. They will oversee, train and evaluate all warehouse staff and ensure that all company assets are maintained to company standards.

The budgeted range for this position starts at $54,000 . Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.

Essential Job Functions Manages all hiring, training and scheduling of warehouse staff Oversees all inventory receiving, binning, picking, packing and transferring processes within the retail and rental warehouses. Works with Store Operations Management, Buying Team, Ecommerce, Tune Shop and Transfer Team to ensure product is efficiently received, stored and distributed to our stores and internal and external customers. Works with the AP and Finance team to ensure all PO’s are properly received and accounted for in the WMS (Lisa/Luis to provide input) Ensures all employees are trained and certified on the safe and effective use of all warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts and company vehicles. Ensures all employees are trained as needed on all WMS applications including Counterpoint, MP2, RTP and NetSuite Assists the procurement division in coordinating the ABG request process and associated inventories Works with freight and LTL providers on shipping and receiving schedules. Coordinate warehousing needs with all company levels and develop strong relationships across multiple departments Always maintains a clean, healthy and organized environment/work space across all warehouses and warehouse properties Leads the organization by example with a hands-on approach to the daily operations within the warehouse. Challenge existing processes and industry “best” practices to discover “right” solutions Recruit passionate and promotable people and develop a strong pipeline Meet with team regularly to maintain a constant communication stream Perform performance reviews and make recommendation for increases Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

2-5+ years warehouse management or equivalent experience. Highschool degree required, college degree preferred. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls. Quantitative decision-making, while balancing qualitative service to customers and quality of life for the warehouse team Service oriented approach and mindset Possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical skills Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires quick thinking and effective multitasking Valid drivers' license. Ability to operate forklift effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel and Word. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills. Strong people skills. Available to work extended hours including occasional holidays and weekends.
