Apex Systems Is Looking For An IT Asset Analyst!To Apply, Please Send an Updated Copy of Your Resume to Louie - lcurrier@apexsystems.comRole: IT Asset Analyst Location: 100% Remote Summary: The IT Asset Analyst will be responsible for supporting IT Asset Management (ITAM) inventory of software and hardware assets as well as the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In addition, working closely with the Sr. IT Asset Analyst to develop and maintain processes, policies, and standards to effectively support our IT asset portfolio. Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or 5+ years of experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with Configuration Management
  • 3-5 years of IT Asset Management (hardware and software) experience
  • Strong technical & ITIL service background
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, contagious optimism and a "can do" attitude.
  • Able to manage timelines and multiple requests at one time
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in insurance or annuities industry
  • ITAM or SAM certifications
Job Duties:
  • Works closely with the Sr. IT Asset Analyst and IT teams to validate asset information in the CMDB
  • Proven ability to develop and report KPI's and metrics to measure, review and analyze the effectiveness of the CMDB & Asset repositories
  • Assist our Sr. IT Asset Analyst, Vendor Management & Finance department on request for information and reports
  • Ability to manage the life cycle of assets including removal of assets, systems updates, daily maintenance, and review of ITAM repository
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost and drive process improvement
  • Proven experience with planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Develop and build relationship models within our ITSM tool for reporting and quality assurance
  • Knowledgeable regarding automation and integration as well as experience with performing data analysis and research within our ITSM tool and other systems using SQL, web services, and scripting technology
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Working knowledge of licensing models and usage rules for Software publishers (ex. Microsoft, Citrix, etc.)
  • Aides in the design and development of reports related to compliance, potential breach of policy and budgetary data for all software & hardware assets.
  • Supports Sr. IT Analyst in gathering reports and data for vendor audit activities
