Apex Systems Is Looking For A Sr. IT Asset Analyst!To Apply, Please Send an Updated Copy of Your Resume to Louie Currier - lcurrier@apexsystems.comRole: Sr. IT Asset Analyst Location: 100% Remote Summary: The Sr. IT Asset Analyst will be responsible for managing IT Asset Management (ITAM) inventory of software and hardware assets as well as the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). In addition, developing and maintaining processes, policies, and standards to effectively support our IT asset portfolio. Required Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience with Configuration Management
  • 5-7 years of IT Asset Management (hardware and software) experience
  • Strong technical & ITIL service background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science or Management Information Systems or 8+ years of experience
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and positive attitude
  • Able to manage timelines and multiple requests at one time
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in insurance or annuities industry
  • ITAM or SAM certifications
Job Duties:
  • Works with IT Analyst & IT teams to validate asset information in the CMDB
  • Develop and report KPI's and metrics to measure, review and analyze the effectiveness of the CMDB & Asset repositories
  • Work closely with the Vendor Management & Finance team on procurement of software and hardware assets
  • Ability to manage the life cycle of assets including location, assignment, product details, warranty information, refresh, and renewal dates
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost and drive process improvement
  • Proven experience with planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build automation and integration as well as perform data analysis and research within our ITSM tool and other systems using SQL, web services and scripting technology
  • Ability to reconcile software and hardware asset information and produce reports and metrics to the technical teams and IT leadership
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Solid understand of Quality Assurance practices in relation to ITAM
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Working knowledge of licensing models and usage rules for Software publishers (ex. Microsoft, Citrix, etc.)
  • Design and develop reports related to compliance, potential breach of policy and budgetary data for all software & hardware assets.
  • Supports vendor audit activities
  • Serves as the primary lead for all ITAM related activities
  • Training and mentor for Asset Analyst
