JOB SUMMARY

Our firm is seeking a high energy professional to join our team and growing company. The Records and Media Coordinator is responsible for maintaining company files including client files and providing front office and social media support. The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational and communication skills and the ability to stay on task. The work schedule is Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Receives, screens and routes telephone calls to individuals and/or provides answers.

Takes and relays clear, accurate messages in a timely manner.

Greets visitors and notifies the appropriate departments that they have guests waiting.

Create, update, and maintain personnel records, financial records, and other records/data.

Maintains a large filing system for company and client accounting needs as well as general and personnel related forms and records.

Maintains office inventory.

Provides administrative support to JWIG team, as needed.

Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.

Develop a strategy, analyzing usage data, facilitating customer service and managing projects and campaigns.

Consistent and dependable attendance is a mandatory job function.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills.

Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.

Possess a strong work ethic and work well under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Considerable knowledge of clerical and administrative practices required to coordinate a central records system.

Considerable knowledge of the policies and procedures of the company and our clients.

Ability to establish and maintain complex clerical records.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and the public.

Ability to recognize and maintain the confidentiality of records concerning various accounting and personnel related matters.

Proficient in operating office equipment and/or software such as multi-line telephones, fax machines, and copy machines.

Skill in the full Microsoft Office suite, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Mailchimp, and Apple equipment.

A power-user of all major social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, linkedin, at minimum).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in Alaska Native Corporations and tribes.

Possess a valid Alaska driver’s license with a clean driving record.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED

A minimum of three (5) years general office experience.

A minimum of one (1) year experience providing customer service, marketing, sales or communications.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

The majority of work is performed in a professional office setting with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities and abilities.
