DESCRIPTION:
Pelazzio Reception Venue in Houston (Westchase) has an immediate opening for a full-time, Administrative Assistant to join our successful event planning team. Our facility specializes in producing full-scale events such as Weddings, Quinceañeras, Corporate Meetings and other Special Events. No previous experience necessary we will train the right individual.
REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to learn Zoho CRM software.
Good written and communication skills (English)
Must be able to work flexible hours Evenings & Weekends required specially SUNDAYS!
Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel – and google product (google drive and google sheets)
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and reside within a 15 miles of office (Southwest Houston)
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background/criminal check.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
manage Zoho applications including the CRM software.
Communicate with customers, employees and vendors on a regular basis
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
Manage front reception desk (i.e. scanning, copying, faxing, voice mail, filing, etc.)
Assist the office manager and other departments with day-to-day projects and tasks
Work directly with our event planners (i.e. assisting with phone/email follow-ups, giving client tours, typing reports, etc.)
Work closely with Accounts Receivable
Starting Rate is $18 to $22
