THE OPPORTUNITY

Edge Construction Specialties, Inc. is currently looking for experienced Project Managers to join our team. Our Project Managers are responsible for managing and coordinating custom commercial architectural millwork projects from post-contract administration through closeout while ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet high quality standards.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Candidates should have BS degree in engineering or construction management and have 5 years in the construction industry, including 3 years experience in construction project administration involving preparation of subcontractors/purchase orders, submittals, RFIs, takeoffs, and scheduling. Technology proficiency, specifically email, calendar, and MS Office is required. Experience with scheduling or estimating principles and software is a plus.

You must be proficient in reading plans and specifications, working with owners/engineers and subcontractors, have a stable working relationship, and be committed to completing quality work, safely, while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Coordinate schedules with general contractors

Read and understand blue prints and shop drawings

Be well versed in architectural millwork and miscellaneous metal fabrication shop drawings and take-offs

Be proficient in Excel

Manage time to meet deadlines

Be professional, energetic, self-driven to work

Be able to multi-task and communicate with others.

The above duties are not meant to restrict initiative, but rather to define minimum activities. These duties may be altered to suit the needs of the particular project and job scope.

Full time position, 40 hours per work. Must be flexible to working over 40 hours when needed.

Standard hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm
