JOB SUMMARY:
The Inventory Manager will manage day-to-day operations in a regulated, cannabis distribution operation in Redway, California. Manager will need strong inventory management skills, a production quota driven mindset, product development & operational experience, extensive cannabis packaging experience and strong attention to detail in designing processes and producing consistent finished products. The ability to work in a team, report to management, and regulatory compliance is an important responsibility of this role as well.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational policies and procedures
Work closely with production team on all elements of the product packaging process; ensure quality control
Oversee procurement of flower, biomass and non-cannabis supporting products
Maintain daily inventory information for products and supplies
Effectively label and organize all products in inventory to compliant standards
Remain up to date with regulatory codes
Identify research areas that could lead to the development of new products or packaging
Effectively communicate with sales and admin personnel
Interact with business team members to address technical or regulatory questions and provide solutions to problems
Work directly with graphic designer to develop and order product menus and packaging materials
Coordinate appointments for testing cannabis products, as needed
Coordinate deliveries and complete all necessary paperwork for delivery of products (manifest, invoice, and COA’s, etc)
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors or equivalent experience
Experience as an effective project team leader
Effective computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
QuickBooks and/or business accounting experience is a plus
Ability to pass a Live Scan background check
Clean driving record

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $18-25 per hour depending on experience
