DMAS is seeking experienced Business Analysts to work on the RFP documents for certain technology procurements of the Agency. 1 yr assignment expected ON SITE once offices safely reopen (Jan timeframe) Required to be ON SITE once safety restrictions are lifted (January timeframe). Parking is not provided for contractors Must pick up equipment IN PERSON One year assignment expected DMAS is seeking experienced Business Analyst to work on the RFP documents for certain technology procurements of the Agency. Potential candidates should have prior experience working on MMIS projects, either operations or Implementations. Experience working in a team environment to support DMAS to write and review requirements and RFP documents. Expert level knowledge of using MS Word, Excel and Visio is required. Knowledge of Virginia Medicaid business rules and practices is a plus. Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Consultant's Experience Consultant Last Used Experience with business process re-engineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems Required 3 Years Familiar with industry standards (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and re-engineering Required 3 Years Experience preparing solution options, risk identification, and financial analysis such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Required 5 Years Experience writing detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs. Required 5 Years Experience preparing and documenting Functional and Technical Specifications. Required 5 Years Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Required 5 Years Knowledge of MMIS solutions and emerging trends Required 3 Years Knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services certification process and requirements for systems Required 3 Years Experience with creating test scenarios & test cases.
