- Leadership
- Provide Strategic Direction & Oversight for the design and scale of the Information Technology Infrastructure across the West Coast Dental family of Dental practices and Support locations, including on-premise and cloud-based systems (file servers, web servers, storage, databases), security, telephony, call center, LAN and SD-WAN, as well as other devices in support of the West Coast Dental operations.
- Lead the Technical Support, and the Technology Roadmap for West Coast Dental's IT Infrastructure, providing support to Operations and ensuring all systems are operating at peak function, measuring performance, and providing preventative maintenance / risk-management (including network, devices, servers & systems, LAN, WAN, security, storage, cloud, telephony, electronic communication and other Infrastructure related tasks and initiative)
- Maintain the IT Infrastructure Budget for Capital & Expense
- Research new industry trends, technologies, and software in support of the current and future infrastructure needs of the company
- Identify opportunities for improvements, risks, expansion, reduction of services (redundancy)Overall Systems Administrator for all company infrastructure
- Measure customer satisfaction
- Meet company established SLA’s
- Develop IT Infrastructure operations dashboards for real-time monitoring
- Infrastructure Strategic Planning
- Participate in developing a strategic plan to address both the short- and long-term plans of West Coast Dental.
- Identify the latest technologies to reduce cost, increase revenue and improve patient care.
- VPN Access for remote users, ensuring no down-time
- Internet accessibility to all access points, at peak performance
- Communications / Telephony - unified communication system across the enterprise, ensuring call centers, offices, support centers and employees are connected with no down time
- On-premise and Azure systems including servers, storage, routers, firewalls, internet connectivity, and other infrastructure related technologies
- Continuously measure and optimize all the infrastructure related components
- Ensure the companies' information is backed-up, with security and fail over for critical data within the different storage or subsets the company utilizes: local copies, cloud storage, back up to Artesia)
- Ensure 99.999% uptime of workstation, printers, scanners, intraoral cameras, sensors, x-ray machines and all other office and patient related infrastructure
- Design & Maintenance of cloud architecture including servers, storage, security, backup, failover, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and real-time status monitoring and reporting.
- Optimizing the use of all Office 365 infrastructure to enhance customer and patient experience including but not limited to corporate Intranet and patient access
- Design and maintain all patient care systems including but not limited to Patient Registration, Patient Portal, Kiosks, Electronics White Boards, and x-ray access
