Principal Engineer II

JOB SUMMARYAnalyze production issues in the Service Delivery program.Test Set-Top-Box video services; test account provisioning for Data, Wifi and Video services; and perform UAT Testing using Putty, Filezilla, Toad, or My SQL.Conduct Nextgen Systems order management. Track the defect triage process across multiple organizations including IT, Business Integration, Technology and Operations and collaborate effectively.Analyze technical and business requirements and identify the environments viable for end to end test. Design technical solutions and performing system integration for integrated Video Solutions on OTT-TV and IPTV platforms; creating user stories, maintaining backlogs, creating sprints; and analyzing application defects using Jira and HP Quality Centre.Study the design of biller, order provisioning and core network systems for all 4 lines of businesses - Video Voice, High Speed Data and Mobile.Support production deployments using Putty, Splunk, Filezilla, Kibana, and Test Flight.Manage and stream Video Content.Maintain configuration for content management systems in lower environments using Putty and Filezilla. Conduct activation and provisioning for CSG and iCOMS billing systems.Build engineering lab diagrams that shows connectivity between different cable systems.Build call flow diagrams for various line of businesses including Video, Voice High Speed Data and Mobile.Validate end-to-end connectivity of the systems for all 4 lines of businesses, and manage end-to-end testing of deliverables for Content Management systems, encoders, and packagers.Build test cases and scripts to automatically test New and MACD flows across these lines of business. Design technical solutions and perform system integration for integrated Video Solutions on OTT-TV and IPTV platforms.Create user stories, maintain backlogs, and create sprints.Analyze application defects using Jira and HP Quality Centre, Support production deployments using Putty, Splunk, Filezilla, Kibana, and Test Flight.Perform Telecommunication Provisioning in the following areas: test Set-Top-Box video services; test account provisioning for Data, Wifi and Video services; and perform UAT Testing using Putty, Filezilla, Toad, or My SQL.Manage and stream Video Content. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
