JOB SUMMARYSupport Charter's Cloud Services team, including planning, designing, and developing new features. Write new microservices; and maintain and improve operational reliability and scalability of existing services. Provide technical solutions in Cloud computing platforms. Build key components that drive Video authentication and streaming for customers, including API Gateway for client applications. Support shared Java microservices utilized by Portals and Video teams for authentication and shared customer functions deployed in Cloud-computing spaces and data centers. Utilize AWS for Cloud computing, NoSQL, relational databases, including MongoDB and Cassandra, and Machine Learning techniques. Participate in daily stand-up meetings as part of Agile SCRUM process. Support object-oriented language development utilizing Java and Java Microservices Architecture; and cloud computing and container orchestration utilizing AWS and Kubernetes. Utilize SQL and NoSQL database for backend Java-based Web Services development. Develop Java-based Web services using Agile-based SCRUM framework. Build web and enterprise applications using Java-based frameworks.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 years of experience in object-oriented language development utilizing Java and Java Microservices Architecture. 2 years of experience: in cloud computing and container orchestration utilizing AWS and Kubernetes; and utilizing SQL and NoSQL database for backend Java-based Web Services development. 1 year of experience: in developing Java based Web services using Agile-based SCRUM framework; and building web and enterprise applications using Java-based frameworks.ESW325 293998 293998BR Here, employees don't just have jobs, they build careers.
