Role: Systems Analyst Location: Remote Duration: 4/30/2022Business Overview: Team: • IT Contact CenterPurpose: • The Systems Analyst Sr. IT is responsible for utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies employed by Prime and assisting in complex analysis, investigation, identification, documentation and implementation of business and IT application requirements, prototyping, and technical solutions based on applicable technologies for either the enhancement of existing applications or to foster the development of new applications. This position is highly technical and works to develop both business and IT requirements into technical solutions. The candidate will serve as the interface between Information Technology and the business/vendor/partner community. • The type of projects will vary among New Client Implementation, enhancing existing applications, system integration with Shared Services or other technology, Technical Documentation creation, IVR system enhancements, reporting requirements etc. • This position is responsible for providing mentorship and guidance to junior members of the Systems Analyst IT team.Position Overview: Responsibilities

  • Oversee execution of key strategic initiatives that derives key goals and business outcome
  • Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs
  • Create and conduct system requirement gathering / user story sessions along with capturing and documenting non-functional and solution requirements
  • Work within Developers in the team on assigned projects to validate designs solutions solves business problems
  • Finalize and represent project work on behalf of Systems Analyst IT team for estimation process
  • Work with Release Coordinator, Business and IT Teams to refine backlog and Project Intake
  • Consult with business users, developers, technical leads and project managers to establish specifications and agree on timeframe for completion of assigned requests
  • Analyzing and refining business requirements to flush out technical integration requirements and solution options working with the project team
  • Participate in working sessions with QA, technical leads and business users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure that product meets customer requirements and expectations
  • Assist and influence decision makers in gathering information to help in the decision-making process
  • Manage work direction and priority independently, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team
  • Technical API, DB and data mapping activities
  • Maintain regular communication on project status with Team lead, project management, and IS management
  • Other duties as assigned
Interaction level with Management/Team Members:
  • Daily and constant interaction with team members, qa, members across other IT areas, release managers, project managers and resource manager are required.
Skills Overview: Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study
  • 8 years of experience with facilitating / capturing / translating technical system and non-functional requirements using various methodologies and technology such as (not limited to): Java, data/applications/file integrations, DB2 or other database, APIs (Java, REST, WS02), ETL, SQL, Data analysis and reporting, File transfer and Batch Applications with SFTP concepts
  • Healthcare / PBM Industry Experience
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills with decisiveness and judgment
  • Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software requirements
  • Capability and understanding of relational databases and data mapping activities (Source to target)
  • Able to rapid prototype user interface designs using HTML or other tools to demonstrate UI/UX experience
  • Facilitate Application DEMO activities for various audiences (Leadership, business, IT, vendors, partners etc.)
  • Proven experience in exposure an understanding of Application Testing cycles and methodologies (Functional, Performance, Regression, Automation etc.)
  • Experience building strong collaborative relationships
  • Proven experience in mentoring junior staff and providing work direction
  • Presentation, flowcharting, documentation expertise using various tools (SnagIT, Visio, Word, PPT, Excel etc.)
  • Experience in Waterfall, Iterative and Agile/ Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to independently manage work volume, prioritization and direction
  • Ability to effectively communicate the impact of proposed business requirements to system models and processing
  • Ability to influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team
  • Excellent written, technical, and verbal communication skills that facilitates effective communication with target Audiences (Vendors, Business, IT, External Clients, Leadership)
  • Capable and willing to receive work direction from direct and indirect leadership, peers and team members
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and shifts outside of core business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST as needed for technical support and/or project needs
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in hands on development with object-oriented programming (developer background)
  • Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
  • Understanding of security implications of domain
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence or similar tools
  • Strong understanding of development and coding guardrails and standards, scalability and infrastructure components
  • Good interpersonal and conflict management skill
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking and drive change
  • Knowledge of Pega software products to provide optimal guidance to support business solutions system functional design using Pega
  • Able to effectively work with ambiguity and in a fast-paced/high change environment
  • Subject Matter expertise in the given product domain; Understanding of business processes and workflows
  • Actively practices continuous integration, iterative development, and outcomes-based delivery
