Title: Database AdministratorLocation: Remote through COVID, then onsite in Plano, TXDuration: 12 months contract to hireCompensation: $60/hr W2 only Our client in the banking industry is looking for a Mid-Level database administrator, with experience working with large scale Enterprise Data warehouse environment builds and operations. Qualifications for the Database Administrator: - Experience in design, capacity planning, cluster set up, security, performance tuning and monitoring in platforms such as Teradata, DB2, OR Netezza
- Experience in administering, and supporting RHEL Linux operating systems, databases, and hardware in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and components
- Experience with Cloudera CDP distribution to install, configure and monitor all services in the CDP stack.
- Understanding of Hadoop distributions in the Cloud such HDInsights, DataBricks, EMR, etc.
- Experience with Azure Synapse is a plus
