This female-owned consulting firm is working with high profile government agencies to provide software solutions for various projects. They are currently looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to their office in Bethesda, MD. This firm specializes in custom software development, agile transformation, and IT staffing. The primary project for this role is an application for the FBI to help solve missing persons, unsolved crimes, and other cases through analyzing and comparing DNA electronically. You will be joining a fast-paced team of 6 that is dedicated to this DNA application. This person will have the opportunity to work on a software system using C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL, and React. The right person will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 8+ years of experience working with C# in production
- ASP.NET MVC
- SQL
- REST Web APIs
- Experience with cloud technologies - preferably Azure, but AWS or GCP experience will be considered
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- Excellent verbal and written communication
