HOME CARE ASST / CNA $25 - $30 per hour

Provide assistance and companionship to very nice 97-year-old man living in his own home.

Currently, we have our care leader and twenty-year family assistant working 5 days. We have another Home Health Care Aid working 2 over nights and 2 full days.

We are now looking for a few additional individuals for both daytime and evening positions.

Regarding the evening position, this would encompass arriving around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and stay overnight in an apartment connected to the home. The individual would need to be available to assist both the client and his elderly wife in case of an emergency and provide any needed assistance throughout the night. Departing around 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. the following day. The job does not require the aid to stay up all evening but to be available in case the client or client's wife needs assistance.

This job position does involve providing significant physical assistance, personal care, hygiene care, medical care, etc. Individuals in the position need to be strong enough to assist in lifting 120 pounds.

This is NOT a housekeeper position. Some simple breakfast meal preparation and some light housekeeping is expected (doing dishes after a meal and laundry one to three times, as needed).

Full double Covid vaccination required.

Previous Elder care assistance experience of at least 3 years is required. CNA qualified desired but not required. Send resume. Extensive background check and DMV check will be required.
