Floor Manager Spectrum Lanes / Woody’s Press Box is seeking an experienced Front of the House Floor Manager to manage the staff and operation of our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining proper Guest Experiences through staff direction/delegation within company policies and procedures as well as hands-on methodologies. The Ideal Candidate will possess the ability to ensure Guest Expectations are met in all areas of the facility through guest engagement, interaction, and supporting role to the needs of the day.We are looking to hire three candidates for this position. Available shifts will be a two shift combination of one weekday shift (Wed/Thur) and one weekend shift (Fri/Sat). All shifts are 4pm to close (12am or 2am depending on the day). Other bartender and serving shifts are also available at bar/serve wage plus tips. Floor Manager wage starts at $19+/hr depending on availability and experience. Full-time option is also available for the right candidate.Wednesday 4pm-CloseThursday 4pm-CloseFriday 4pm-CloseSaturday 4pm-CloseTraining will take place on evenings (can schedule to fit) with our Management Team.Floor Manager Primary Responsibilities·Demonstrate effective and professional leadership skills, appearance, and self-presentation.·Train, and supervise staff – Develop appropriate recruiting and training strategies to support higher service standards and customer experiences.·Support FOH staff in following Company guidelines and procedures according to established policy.·Assist Lead FOH Manager in scheduling in accordance with normal business volumes, televised sporting events and planned group/special events.·Provide FOH and BOH communication and procedures concerning promotions, group events, Holiday promotions, and sporting event promotions.·Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations.·Maintain safe working conditions.·Follow company policies and procedures regarding customer service, the handling of cash, property, products and equipment.·Provide supporting role to staff and provide items and stocking levels necessary for them to perform duties·Other duties as assigned by Ownership.·Successful candidate will have opportunities to grow with the business.Necessary Skills ·Customer Service: A friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service will help get repeat customers.·Stamina: Long, busy days on your feet are the trademark of this job.·Teamwork: Managers are part of a team. Being a team player is essential.·Leadership Skills: Managers will have to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make appropriate decisions.·Task Oriented: Serve in any capacity within the facility as needed due to associate absence and perform related duties and assignments as required.·Ability and confidence to quickly learn and provide leadership in all “necessary” and “helpful” skills and experiences listed here.Helpful Experiences·Point-of-Sale (POS) computer sales and reporting operation.·Expediting Food in a fast-paced environment.·Stocking bar items, products, changing kegs.·Aptitude for problem solving and situational management.·Able to wait tables and/or bartend if needed.
