We are a busy Catering and Event Center looking to bring on an additional Chef/Banquette Chef. Cooking is done at our Event Center as well as off site at various venues throughout Northern Michigan in one of our Mobile Kitchens. As a Catering Chef, you would be primarily responsible for preparing banquet menu items and controlling and directing your team, as well as overseeing the food preparation of all banquet and catering events while ensuring superior quality and consistency at all times.

A competitive starting hourly rate is offered as well as gratuity earned on each event. A sign on bonus will be offered after 60 days of work performed. It is a fun and great team working environment with additional potential incentives offered in the future if you join our team. These details will be discussed during the interview process.

The position has the potential with being flexible as we are looking for two additional Chef's. Preferably Full Time, though we will consider Part Time. We prefer Catering experience, though are willing to train the right individual. Employee retention is our top priority, so we are looking at additional potential benefits as well as trying our best to schedule our employees 2 days off per week dependent upon our schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

Throughout our event center and Kitchen, we have sanitizing stations and encourage regular hand washing to help prevent any spreading. We will wear masks should our customers require us to do so at a hired event.
