RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is seeking an experienced Test Engineer III for an enterprise client who strives to enhance their customer experience every single day in Fort Collins, CO. This opportunity will enable a Test Engineer to join a team of Engineers that are configuring computer hardware builds, configuring storage drivers, creating, and executing tests, debugging, and validating system builds.In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (-the Act-) (C.R.S. S 8-5-101 et seq.). Kforce discloses that the anticipated pay range for this position, which is subject to change based on job-related factors, including Kforce client requirements where applicable, is between $15-$17.Summary:This Test Engineer III team is unique to this organization as they work with internal and external teams to reproduce system failures and report how they were produced.Test Engineers will be engaged with preparing the test matrix, running tests, recording results, and documenting all aspects of the test configuration, including: Diagnose BSODs Troubleshoot drivers not being installed Handles communication is key to ensure you are collaborating with all parties Driver versions Components used Motherboard and CPU versions Memory type and quantityKforce offers a robust benefit package which includes medical, dental and vision. If you are interested in this position, please apply ASAP.REQUIREMENTS: At least 1 year of experience in computer hardware build and troubleshooting Experience with computer configuration Experience in Windows and Linux environments Test Engineer must have familiarity with managing Windows PCs Deep understanding of computer hardware (i.e.: replacing CPUs, PCle devices, general maintenance) Networking/KVM experience Windows 10 OS knowledge (older versions a ) Knowledge in computer systems and design Computer system testing experience Testing memory configurations Configuring the systems for test Loading BIOS Running automated and manual OS installations Occasional set up and monitoring of systems for debug with windbg over LAN, USB, or serial Strong troubleshooting skills Great communication skills Team player, eager and ready to learn, self-motivated Experience testing and troubleshooting on a Windows PC Experience with storage controllers and RAID storage configurationsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
