TITLE: Support SpecialistLOCATION: Onsite support for Park Meadows/Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and Castle RockCOMPENSATION: $23-$27/hr W2BENEFITS & PERKS: Medical, Dental & Vision insurance; 4% match on 401K, Life & LTD Insurance, and Employee Perks (more detail below)OVERVIEW:The Support Specialist is responsible for a variety of support efforts related to desktop hardware, operating systems, and applications. This is a go-to position for assisting users in efficient use of provided hardware and software, resolving any technical issues, document workflow improvement suggestions, and convey feedback to other teams to test and further advance the products. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:The following examples are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive. The specific technologies and functions change over time yet remain within the core purpose and function of a Support Specialist.- Answer incoming technical support requests via phone calls, electronic tickets, walk-ups, and emails in an effective, efficient, and friendly manner. Taking ownership of reported incidents and problems, maintaining consistent communications and ensuring resolution. This requires high attention to detail and documentation.
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times, resulting in a positive, productive experience for the users.
- Provide computer, peripheral, process, and application support to customers by phone and in person. Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software problems using multiple troubleshooting techniques and all available resources.
- Work with users and senior Support Specialists and other member of IT to provide the appropriate services to streamline delivery.
- Assist with imaging and maintaining computer builds using SCCM and other tools.
- Participates in root cause analysis efforts and implements resolutions recommended by senior team members.
- Assist users to gain skills and capabilities needed to get the most out of a wide range of standard software tools through individual mentoring and access to online resources.
- Required to participate in On-Call rotation as needed
- Responsible for continuous self-improvement through mentoring, self-study, and organized training.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
