JOB DESCRIPTION:Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the Engineering community to ensure Mobile projects are delivered on time, within budget, adheres to high quality standards and meets customer expectations.
  • Assembles Mobile project plans and teamwork assignments, directs and monitors work efforts on a daily basis, identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews; and escalates functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately.
  • Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources.
  • Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, risk and resources of the work effort being managed.
  • Provide clear communicate at both working-level and senior leadership levels on project health as well as areas of need based on current activities (high level requirements or solution, issue walkthroughs, etc)
  • Establishes relationships with key project stakeholders to not only provide status updates and work through issues/risks, but to become a trusted advisor to key internal stakeholders.
  • Develops options and recommendations to drive critical decisions and mitigate risks. Individual will primarily work on high visibility / high complexity projects and being able to clearly communicate and drive resolution of issues will be imperative.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management certification or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum
  • PMP Certification
  • Minimum five (5) years of project Management experience
  • Minimum five (5) years of engineering work experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of consulting work experience
  • Experience with Mobile projects and may have delivered a project for an IoT or connected product.
  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
  • Strong understanding and ability to manage complex programs
  • Strong ability in implementing program and project plans, monitoring progress, resource usage and quality
  • Strong knowledge in conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
  • Strong understanding of multiple project management disciplines
  • Strong ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple assignments
  • Strong ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instructions

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:For individuals assigned to work in Colorado, Excelacom is required to include a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. However, final salaries will vary based on several factors, such as candidate’s level, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. An individual may be hired at the Analyst, Consultant, or Manager level for this role with each level requiring an increasing set of responsibilities. For regular full-time employees, the estimated salary range is from $85,000 to $115,000/yr.
