Our mission is to leverage our proprietary technology to create, develop and commercialize innovative life science research tools and breakthrough clinical products that transform healthcare.Position Summary:SomaLogic is looking for a highly motivated and passionate clinical R&D Scientist to help support R&D and product development efforts focused on designing and developing new SomaSignal tests and to expand the utility of existing tests. Successful candidates will work with a diverse group of clinical scientists, statisticians, regulatory and commercial teams. Key Job Responsibilities:Performs research through collaboration with commercial team members to understand current care pathways, expectations of test performance, reference/comparator standards and expectations of evidentiary standards, then applies that knowledge to clinical program designs that enable test discovery, development and performance assessment aligned with our commercial strategy.

In collaboration with bioinformatics team members, creates statistical analysis plans to direct bioinformatics analyses for developing and validating proteomic models fit for purpose and with sufficient evidence to support commercial adoption.

Works directly with quality and regulatory team members through the test development process to ensure products meets current standards.

Qualifications:Education:Master of Public Health or MS degree in related field with several years of related clinical study experience

PhD preferred with experience in clinical study design and analysis

Skills and experience:

Clinical research: several years of experience in clinical study design, clinical data interpretation, creation of reports and publications

Experience in the field of oncology is preferred

Communications: able to present oral and written information in a clear and concise way to individuals, teams, and in public fora, including publications and conferences

Experience using basic statistical analysis programs to analyze biological data

Key opinion leader relationships: demonstrated ability to gain the respect of, and to influence KOLs to participate in programs, ideally across multiple participating centers, in a constructive way, aligned with the project objectives Work Environment:Work is performed in either a home office setting or company office setting, following public health guidelines.
