- Demonstrated experience supporting WAN/LAN networks in a 24x7 production environment
- Mastery of L2 Networking: VLANs, 802.1Q Trunking, LACP link aggregation
- Mastery of L3 Networking: IPv4 Addressing/Subnetting, Routing(BGP, OSPF)
- Mastery of network troubleshooting tools, techniques, and fault isolation methods
- Strong experience with firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPSEC, Client VPN.
- Strong understanding of core network protocols: DNS, DHCP, LLDP
- Experience supporting Internet-facing infrastructures and troubleshooting public network issues with customers and third parties
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of articulating ideas; able to express opinions in a team environment.
- Must be detail-oriented, understand the importance of controlling change without delaying deliverables.
- Works well in a team environment with a superior customer service ethic.
- Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, and VRFs
- Working experience with Kubernetes, Openstack, VMWare, and KVM
- Strong experience with Linux, open source software, and source management(git)
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Optical Networking
- Experience with Data Center & Colocation operations
- Build and operate networks for a rapidly growing SaaS hosting infrastructure
- Act as a technnical leader within the team
- Provide network expertise for high volume production system
- Troubleshoot network issues with customers and manage support tickets
- Participate in infrastructure on-call rotation
- Support network monitoring, efficiency, and automation tools
- Document systems and configurations and network flows
