Plant Accountant. This position could be a great stepping stone to a future position asPlant Controllershould you wish your career to move that direction. Plant Accountantresponsibilities will include:General Ledger, A/R, A/P, and work with HR to support payroll
Compilation of parts manufacturing costs for inventory accountability, distribution of plant labor, verification of actual costs, and computation of variances
Management of the financial processesbudgets, audits, inventory, balance sheet, reconciliations, monthly forecasts/projections
Preparing monthly financial and various detailed analysis
Preparation of an annual capital spending budget
Participate in physical inventory
Maintenance of effective accounting controls and procedures
Plant Accountantbackground should include:Bachelor of Science in in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of manufacturing plant accounting experience
Strong experience in variance analysis
Expertise in financial systems
Experience in managing a financial close
Experience in preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
SAP experience
Strong Excel and database management experience
