Summary:Facilitates or directly arranges ordered diagnostic and therapeutic services in specific complex cases.Work Schedule: Full Time

DaysResponsibilities:Facilitates and manages ordered diagnostic and therapeutic services for radiologically complex exams.Assesses, identifies and plans patient care needs by effectively communicating with the Radiologists, Radiology Clinical staff and all ancillary departments i.e. outpatient facilities, Surgery. Utilizes appropriate resources to safely and accurately schedule the patients.Evaluates patient's health history, testing and current medication in order to provide appropriate pre-procedure instructions for the patient prior to their exam.Effectively uses clinical expertise, judgement and assessment skills in scheduling procedures.Within

scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the

ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a

fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:Credentials:Essential: Registered Nurse Basic Life Support

Other information:Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Minimum Experience: 6 months nursing experience. Preferred: 3 years of recent hospital/clinical experience. Preferred: EPIC experience. Previous clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting.

BLS through the American Heart Association or theAmerican Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand beforestart date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days ofhire. All life support certification cards must be issued by eitherthe American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for theProfessional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is onlygood upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American HeartAssociation sanctioned course.)
