Year-round evening position available in Base Area Services! Must have a valid Driver’s License with supervisory skills and previous cleaning experience preferred. Work hours: 5pm to 1am.

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
Oversees and participates in the cleaning process of all four SSRC office buildings
Vacuum, dust, mop SSRC office buildings
Clean restroom facilities and other designated areas daily
Stock supplies in housekeeping storage areas
Damp wipe/dust recycling receptacles as needed
Window cleaning and empty trash/recycle containers daily
Ability to supervise and work with small staff
Empty trash and recycle containers daily
Window cleaning, vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, SSRC office buildings
Other duties as assigned

Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:
Professional cleaning experience preferred
Supervisory skills preferred
Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Operating a vehicle is an essential function of this position and will require the successful applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the Alterra Driver’s Standards Policy that includes possessing a valid Driver's License and meet insurability standards
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations’ Service Excellence Standards

Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely lift approximately 30-50 pounds on a regular basis
Ability to walk, bend over and stand for long periods of time
Ability to run vacuum cleaner for extended periods of time
Must be at least 18 years of age

Miscellaneous information:
This is an hourly paid position and is subject to overtime pay
Position will require a background check to be completed upon hire
Hours of operation: 5pm to 1am

Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. Employees must follow all resort mitigation plans and protocols, which can be found posted on resort buildings and on Beekeeper

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat area base hourly pay rate:$18.00 per hour
