- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)/Federal Financials (OFF) Application Developer must interface with Database Administrators (DBAs), Application Administrators (AA), third-party system administrators, and the end-user community.
- College-level communications skills, being able to communicate clearly, both orally and with written communications.
- Must be a creative thinker who can work well on a team
- Education/Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Computer Science is required.
- 5-10 relevant years of hands on experience in a wide array of Oracle technologies including:
- Oracle Applications R12
- Oracle Form Builder 10g
- Oracle Reports Builder 10g
- Oracle Database 12c
- Oracle BI Publisher
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Oracle WorkFlow
- Quest Toad
- Specific experience with configurations of Oracle EBS Projects Billing and Costing Module
- Experience developing in one of the following Operating Systems and Development Environments:
- Sun Solaris, Linux Redhat
- Experience in utilizing/creating data models
- Experience in writing complex database queries, creating tables/views, stored procedures against Oracle Databases
- Experience in multi-tier development projects including development of middle tier and front end interface
- Experience in using MS Office
- Additional desirable skills/experience:
- Oracle Developer Certifications
- Oracle Fusion Middleware
- Oracle BPEL
- Oracle Application Framework
- Oracle Self Service Forms
- Candidates MUST be a US Citizen and be willing to obtain an ADP I or ADP II clearance.
- Ability to pass National Agency Check with Law Enforcement and Credit (NACLC) or equivalent.
- Participate in development efforts to extend EBS/OFF COTS software by writing new software code including but not limited to:
- Create and maintain custom Oracle Forms using Oracle Forms Builder
- Create and maintain custom Oracle reports using Oracle Reports Builder
- Database packages, tables, indexes, views, sequences and other database objects
- Configuring standard applications modules
- Updating existing and creating new APIs
- Engage with other developers on the Team
- Elicit business requirements
- Document software requirements
- Document software designs
- Document migration instructions
- Understanding of the Projects Billing and Costing module and its integration with Purchasing and GL/SLA modules
- Conduct code review of software source code developed, including peer reviews of documentation
- Develop and execute unit test cases
- Tune database packages for performance by refactoring code and queries
- Use PVCS or any other Versioning Tool to manage source code baseline
