Game Release Manager

Our client is looking for a Game Release Manager in Redmond, WA (Remote to start) to support several ongoing projects in their Franchise. From product creation and configuration, to certification submission and release, you will own all aspects of the release pipeline, providing visibility and clear communication around release plans, and ensuring each release is as smooth as possible. In addition, you will be facilitating their internal playtesting efforts, making it easy for internal members to play the latest builds and test new features. WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

• Collaborate with others on the RM team to support the various products in the Franchise.
• RM Support includes product creation, configuration, PDP updates, certification submission, and release.
• Contribute to improvements with their release procedures, to make them more repeatable, consistent, and less error prone.
• Keep up to date with their platforms’ submission portals and certification requirements through review of store portals, and direct communication with external store partners. Communicate any upcoming deadlines to development teams.
• Collaborate with internal partners, and seek out opportunities to leverage knowledge and share best practices when it comes to release procedures.
• Coordinate and facilitate our internal playtest sessions, establishing focus areas, ensuring everyone has fun playing the latest builds, and feedback is actioned on.

• 3+ years of experience as a Release Manager, Producer or related experience.
• 2+ years of experience with submission process, certification requirements, store portals for one or more partner platforms (Xbox, Windows, iOS, Android, Switch, PS4, Amazon).
• Excellent problem resolution and decision-making skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively in a multi-team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to convey appropriate level of detail for each target audience.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle fluctuating priorities and projects in a consistent manner.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
