Sales Rep for business sponsors of the Bakersfield Film Festival

We need a salesperson to travel Kern County and acquire business and personal sponsorships for the upcoming Bakersfield Film Festival & Art Competition. This is a commission-based job in which the salesperson will retain 20% of all gross sponsorships he/she contracts. You must be independent and work your own client list unless specifically assigned to a business or personal sponsor. We have a festival director and marketing director on the ground in Bakersfield. You would keep in touch with those individuals on a weekly basis. This event will sell itself and we are already contracted for event venues including The Bakersfield Music Hall of Fame.
