Dental Hygienist- FULL TIME

We have a very exciting opportunity for the right person. We are in need of an exceptional hygienist for our fun, energetic, busy practice. We offer a highly competitive salary, 401k, partial health insurance reimbursement and roughly a 170 day work year. Our staff is paid on salary so you get paid even when you’re not working and we also offer a bonus based on collections that adds up to several thousand dollars a year.

This is an extremely low turnover office so we are looking for someone who wants a new career, not a job. Attitude is everything! You will be expected to be a team player and jump in wherever you are needed. If you “just clean teeth”, this is not the office for you. We are willing to train if you are new to the field, but here are a few requirements:

- Anesthesia certification

- CPR certification

- Loupes

- Staying on schedule seeing 1 adult or 2 kids per hour.

- Doing a thorough examination and communicating your findings to the patient before the Dr. enters the room. You are not diagnosing you are just sharing your observations and taking pictures of your findings.

- Reviewing existing treatment on the treatment plan and why it was recommended.

- Being on time for work EVERY day.

- Availability from 8-5 M-Th and 7-2 on Fridays (we usually work a 4 day week, but often work less than that).

- Availability for a monthly meeting from 2-4 on Fridays and being prepared 15 minutes before we start in the morning for a morning huddle.

- A great smile and friendly attitude.

- A person who builds a connection with their patients. We treat our patients like family, literally.

Here are some things that will help:

- Familiarity with Eaglesoft and intraoral cameras.

- Experience with sedation, sleep apnea and Cerec.

- Previous exposure to Blatchford philosophies
