Community Educator for Conscious Coconut

Conscious Coconut is hiring a positive, hard-working and organized team member to educate and represent our coconut oil brand at Whole Foods Stores throughout Denver and Boulder. Store visits, demos and team education will be ENTIRELY scheduled by YOU so this position would be great for a someone looking for flexibility and extra income. Whole Foods demos are scheduled from either 10-2 or 3-7 so you can visit stores whenever is best for you.

As a community educator, you will be the face of Conscious Coconut both in our retailers and within the community. You will educate both the Body Care Whole Foods Staff and your Denver community on the benefits of using coconut oil from head to toe. You are expected to be a self-starter, effective communicator, good listener, and have a passion for the natural product/beauty industry.

Expectations

1. Build brand awareness through staff training and events

2. Assist customers to determine what Conscious Coconut products are best for them

3. Generate in-store events for brands & increase brand awareness

4. Responsible for ensuring brand standards and objectives are met via regular communication with Sales, Accounts & Education teams.

5. Responsible for developing and leveraging positive retailer relationships to maximize store level support related to all areas of driving business.

6. Build and maintain successful in-store relationships with retailer employees and management.

7. Consistently partner and communicate with Sales, Account & Education Teams to effectively grow and develop overall business.

8. Educate and train retailer teams on CoCo, product knowledge and selling techniques to elevate brand awareness and achievement of sales goals so that they can continue to generate sales for the brand when you are not present in store.

9. Support Sales, Accounts & Education Teams during new store opening trainings as well as specialized retailer trainings as needed.

10. Ensure product in-store is merchandised and fully stocked

11. Communicate needs of store and brand to the corporate team (out of stock items, requests for store generated events, etc).

Minimum of 3 years experience working in a spa/grocery or beauty retail environment.

Strong selling, customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Experience working successful natural product, beauty or cosmetic events.

Excellent time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Professional attitude and ability to be flexible

Ability to travel within market.

Must have a reliable form of transportation.

Possess a personal phone to be utilized for business purposes.

Technology skills ability to use a smart phone and keep open lines of communication via email, video calls, phone calls, text messages etc.
