Sunshine Massage Studio, winner of "Best Massage" 2016 in Vail, winner of "Best Freestyle Eastern" 2021 at the World Championships for Massage, is expanding and now hiring 1 full time/ 1 part time / and on-call therapists for the 2021-2022 Winter season, December 15-April 15. Sunshine Massage Studio showcases a truly unique massage experience that blends Thai massage, yoga, inversion therapy, acroyoga, aerial yoga, vibration therapy, aromatherapy, sound healing, and ashiatsu in mystifying ways that make it a must for anyone seeking therapeutic transformation.

Our mission is to set new standards in the worlds of both yoga and massage by providing a multi-sensory massage "journey" through mind, body and spirit. We are known for "wow'ing" our clients with a one-of-a-kind healing experience, and honoring our clients with compassionate listening, customized work/pressure and superb customer service.

The owner, Samantha Sunshine, has invented 6 truly unique massage modalities not taught in massage school. This is a fun, creative and stimulating job opportunity for those who are seriously ready to learn, think and do massage "outside of the box". Sunshine Massage Studio specifically caters to clients looking for an alternative approach to massage. Massage training is provided for free and maintaining an open mind and attitude for learning is a must! Experience:

- Training in Thai massage

-Significant job history in the field

-Job history working to customize sessions with clients

Please mention any work history related to massage and/or careers in customer service, marketing, and the health and wellness industry Requirements:

-CO massage license

-Have a welcoming presence and superb customer service skills

-Be physically fit, with ability to balance on one leg

-Have the ability to adapt, be open minded and enthusiastic to learn new ways to massage the body

-Have a passion for helping others transform giving massages brings you joy and is a "way of life" , rather than an income

-Be punctual and reliable

-Have the ability to lift, get up/get down with ease, give massage with your hands and feet and work on the padded mat (there is no massage table at Sunshine Massage Studio)

-Think "outside of the box" of massage routines and utilize your creativity every day

-Listen to feedback about your massage and adapt

-Offer customized massage based on the client's needs

-Be committed to your health first; take time to refuel yourself often Additional Experience (Ideal, but not required):

-Experience giving regular Thai massage sessions/ 5 days a week

-Experience teaching Thai massage

-Experience giving tandem massage / couples massage

-Provide clients with motivation, inspiration and knowledge on pain prevention and self-care advice

-Anticipate client's needs, offer compassionate care and deep listening

-An understanding of the benefits of inversion therapy

-Training in acroyoga, ashiatsu, aromatherapy, cupping, pilates, aerial yoga, sound healing or other modalities Epic Location:

Vail is a high mountain haven known for its stunning views, vast skiable terrain and number of sunny days. Vail is a mecca for training all winter sports, world-class athletes, and injury rehabilitation via the world renowned orthopedic clinic, The Steadman Clinic. The Sunshine Massage Studio is located in West Lionshead village, directly on the bus line. Parking is not provided. Free intown bus is available. Compensation:

Sunshine Massage Studio offers the most competitive compensation plan in Vail Valley. We offer a generous program which includes base compensation, tips, and performance incentives for excellent quality and sustained performance. 1) After receiving your email, the owner Sunshine will set up a 30 minute phone interview with you.

2) If it feels like a good fit, we will then set up a 90 mins hands-on interview to give you the chance to shine and share your gifts at the Sunshine Massage Studio in Vail.

3) You will also get to receive a 90 min massage with Sunshine and be fully immersed in the unique experience

4) If you have "the touch" , you resonate with the sunshine technique, and you meet the basic job requirements, there will be a new massage therapist orientation and training November 30-December 5, 2021.

5) If successful, the job positions officially start December 13 and goes until April 15.

After going through the hiring process, there will be 6 days/2 half days of training at the Sunshine Massage Studio to orient you to Vail and the Lionshead village, to meet the Sunshine dream team, to get to the know the colorful studio, and to prepare you for successful sessions ahead! Formal instruction by Samantha Sunshine, including guest teachers, will go over fundamental body movements and proper body alignment, sunshine's top favorite Thai massage moves, a deeper understanding of the mission, and an introduction to all other massage tools including Theragun, omni-gym, pure wave, cupping, rad roller and hot stones. This will be a memorable experience, jam packed with spontaneous bursts of joy and laughter.
