On-Site IT Technical Support Job Description Do you possess experience and passion for providing IT Technical Support? We are looking to hire an ambitious IT expert for our open On-Site IT Technical Support position. Your job will be to provide technical support to maintain the organization’s computer systems, both hardware and software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance so that end users can maintain a high level of productivity.

Responsibilities for Technical Support
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related service issues, requests, and tasks based on priorities from clients or other employees
  • Support the Company’s internal software via email, GoToAssist, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot computer and peripheral network connectivity issues.
  • New employee account and device setups.
  • Complete detailed reports listing requests for technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved.
  • Maintaining system functionality by testing and troubleshooting computer components.
  • Install, configure, maintain, support, repair, and dispose of computer hardware, printers, desk phones, mobile devices, and similar peripherals.
  • Comprehend policies, standards, and follow procedures such as incident, service request, change, asset management, etc.
  • Some On-Call after-hours support will be required. Company issued iPhone is provided.

Qualifications for Technical Support
  • Excellent written, listening, and verbal communications.
  • Possess a professional attitude and work ethic in addition to being well organized and efficient.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
  • Excellent hands-on IT technical knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 354, IOS devices, networks, VPN, anti-virus, etc.
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism
  • Time-management skills and ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service communications, technical, research, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, resourceful, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience and Qualifications
  • 1-2 Years of hands-on IT Technical support
  • Possess or working towards industry specific certification such as CompTIA A+, Network +, Microsoft IT Support, etc.
