Integration & Test Engineer Location: Aurora, CO Required Clearance: Secret

Job Description: As the System Integration & Test Engineer, the candidate will support the Integration & Verification Lead providing technical solutions and driving development and execution of SEIT Test Events. Technical responsibilities include plan preparation and maintenance, procedure development, conducting verification at the Segment/Element level, supporting metrics collection, supporting defect resolution with product owners, execution and reporting of the verification effort.

Job Duties:
  • Provide oversight and technical direction for the test engineering lifecycle to include requirements analysis, test design, system integration requirements verification, deployment and helping ensure overall configuration management of the product satisfying cost, schedule and specifications allocated to the program to achieve.
  • Provide engineering support and technical direction for the execution of a portion of the program's test program, test processes including baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation.
  • Candidates will be responsible for definition and execution of formal testing and regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline for their technical scope - driving program performance, coordination with the test manager of the test products, schedules, and resources.
  • The selected candidate must exhibit ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness to solve particularly complex problems involving a diverse set of engineering disciplines.
  • The Integration & Test Engineer must have integration and test expertise and be capable of developing a strong rapport within the program and the customer community.

Required Skills:
  • 4+ years demonstrated experience and knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle to include:
  • System integration and test planning and implementation for large scale systems using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Technical Baseline Management.
  • Management and integration of COTS/FOSS.
  • Development of test architecture/framework.
  • Preparation and reporting of program plans, schedules and metrics.
  • Specification of test verification requirements.
  • Review and approval of integration and test procedures and plans.
  • Use of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plans.
  • Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk.
  • Experience developing test procedures that exercise interfaces external to the ground system being tested.
  • Experience testing Command and Control software running on Windows and Linux based operating systems.
  • Experience integrating, troubleshooting, problem isolation of software and hardware based systems.
  • Experience developing test procedures and tools that capture performance based metrics in support of requirement sell-off.
  • Experience transitioning newly deployed systems to the operations teams.
  • Experience working across product teams in a complex multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Strong desire to learn, take initiative and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle models (waterfall and Agile).
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as required to achieve milestones.
  • Must be willing to work >50 hour work/week for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to travel; expect >50% travel for short duration (2-3 mo).
