Job SummaryUnder general supervision, provides implementation and maintenance support of the Denver Health network and VoIP environments, including the service offerings to integrate voice, video and data. Develops and implements scalable network and VoIP solutions for clinical and campus environments including: Network Management solutions, firewall support, Cisco Communications Manager support, LAN/WAN infrastructure redesign and/or expansion of existing Ethernet and/or Metro Ethernet networks. Perform tuning tasks associated with network and VoIP infrastructure ensuring application reliability in a local and wide area environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting software and/or hardware problems for network and VoIP based systems, installation and project implementation, and maintenance of network and VoIP documentation, as well as interacting with 3rd party vendors. Virtualization; Active Directory; Network Concepts; DHCP server/client; DNS; VLANs; Wireless Security. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly explain concepts and problems to employees and clients in non-technical terms.
