Mid Level DevOps Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a mid level DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract role. Responsibilities: DevOps Engineer works with developers, testers, and deployment teams to create software deployment/hosting plans Plan and onboard teams onto the CICD platform (Harness.io) Implement Jenkins/Gitlab CICD pipelines, creating docker images and orchestration of builds DevOps Engineer writes and updates automated scripts for installation of server software products Configures containers necessary hardware or virtual machines and operating environments as needed for development and testing teams Works with developers and hardware teams to update infrastructure and OS for applications Works with developers and infrastructure teams to install or upgrade third party software DevOps Engineer monitors a system's performance, and reliability as well as the daily data processing Solves complex problems and issues as part of a team Participates in project-related stand-up meetings Reviews and provides feedback for all external facing user documentation, including on-line self-help materials Performs production installations and upgrades of server software products DevOps Engineercoaches and mentors other teams on CICD toolsREQUIREMENTS:Experience with the following: Code Management (Git) CICD Scripting (Bash) Linux Jenkins , Gitlab CI CD AWS Kubernetes Deep background in software engineering and understand the SDLC and concepts of software integration, system integration, CI CD configurations and Cloud environments Must have CI CD configuration experience Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
