POSITION: Assembly OperatorDUTIES: Assembles traction chains according to drawings. Assembles traction chains Performs a variety of tasks requiring basic knowledge of assemblytechniques, materials, tools, machines, and equipment Works from engineering drawings, rough sketches, or manuals Possesses ability to move parts on and off pallets Must be able to interpret and carry out work instructions according toproduct being processed Operates lift truck and pallet truck Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishingnew and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to jobaccomplishments Perform and/or verify completion of first-article and in-processinspection on all jobs and indicate such on production documentation Review quality issues with quality assurance, manufacturing support, andengineering to resolve quality issues and take corrective actions as required Interact and support a broad spectrum of personnel internal and external tothe company. Work effectively and efficiently in both team-based andindependent working environments to reduce costs and add value to theorganization Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;following instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicatingactions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
