Assistant Project Manager Grounds

The Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating the completion of multiple grounds maintenance projects as specified in the government contract and as directed by the Project Manager. This includes scheduling and directing work crews to meet timelines and quality requirements. This role will work closely with the Project Manager to hire, develop, and train personnel to carry out the work.

Additionally, this position must be proficient using computer software used in the operation of grounds maintenance and work collaboration. Must have technical expertise in irrigation systems and maintenance, herbicide applications, and equipment used.

The Assistant Manager will support the company mission and actively work to develop employees according to that mission including mentoring, providing feedback, and evaluating work.Education/Experience:

We prefer applicants with a high school diploma or GED.

You must have previous supervisor experience.

Grounds experience is preferred.

You must also have empathy and respect for individuals with disabilities.Other Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age with at least three years driving experience, and have a safe driving record determined by Skils'kin's vehicle insurance carrier.

Must be able to obtain a Federal Contractors Badge upon employment.

Will need to have or obtain proper identification approved for base access.

Position pays hourly wage with an additional fringe benefit amount per hour toward employee's health and welfare benefits which includes options for medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k). Employees also receive paid sick leave and earn paid time off.
