Employment Highlights

Compensation range of $62-$75k annually, plus discretionary annual bonus

Tuition reimbursement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Daily tracking and analysis of cash position

Maintenance of new vendor files

Fixed asset accounting and reconciliation

Lease accounting and reconciliation

Banking and balance sheet reconciliation

Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities with Assistant Controller, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Prepare, review, and analyze financial information to ensure integrity

Participate in external and internal audits as required

1099-MISC and fuel tax reporting

Ad hoc projects and reporting as needed

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in accounting, finance, or other applicable fields

At least 2 years of accounting work experience, preferably in the construction/manufacturing industries

Motivated to obtain CPA or CMA certifications

Strong knowledge of GAAP including fixed assets and lease accounting standards

Must possess excellent skills with Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel (intermediate level). Experience with JDE, Sage, Timberline, or other enterprise construction industry software a plus

Highly motivated, positive, professional, organized, detail oriented, and an effective communicator
